The Cyber Essentials Plus is audited certification, it builds on the self-assessment by adding an onsite assessment of your cybersecurity controls. Achieving this certification shows that you have gone further than the basic requirements in protecting your business from potential online attack.

BIT Security offers expert guidance for businesses with little or no cyber security knowledge through the cost-effective Assistance service. This starts from £295 +VAT, (plus self-assessment costs), making it an affordable way of getting certified with minimal hassle or expense.

Once you are certified and as part of the Cyber Essentials scheme free cyber insurance is available (to UK companies with a turnover of less than £20 million). This provides you with peace of mind regarding the financial impact of any data breaches or other liabilities arising from potential security incidents that may occur after achieving certification.
